Updated 03 Oct 22 – Pennant Draws 2022-2023
Since the original Pennant Draws were released a number of errors have been highlighted, by clubs/individuals, and there has been a Side withdrawn in Midweek B1.
The major error was in the Weekend A3 requiring a new Draw to be generated. A summary of the amendments are as follows:
- Weekend Draws;
- Division A3 – complete new Draw
- Division B1 – Typo in Round 1
- Division B2 – Rounds 1 and 8 for Corowa Civic and Tungamah reversed to accommodate changes in A3
- Division B3 – as already advised through an independent update
- Midweek Draws – Division B1 – withdrawal of Club Mulwala and a typo in Round 1. Corowa RSL reinstated after initially withdrawing.
As a result of the various amendments, attached is a new set of Draws. All clubs are requested to review their Sides Draws and note any changes impacting on your club.
Unfortunately, the impact on the Draws is mainly due to manipulation to accommodate clubs who have more Sides than rinks available for ‘Home’ games. The problem is further acerbated due to clubs requiring to refurbish Greens and having too many clubs, with only one Green playing in the same Division eg. Weekend A3 has 4 clubs with only one Green
It is hoped that all errors have now been found and fixed and all clubs needs accommodated.
