RESULTS OF ANNUAL WOMEN’S CHALLENGE
OVENS & MURRAY VERSUS GOULBURN VALLEY
This annual event was played at Yarrawonga Mulwala Golf Club Resort
on Friday 27th October on very good greens in great weather, involving 10 rinks from each area. The quality of the bowls was excellent from both sides over 3 games.
The Goulburn Valley combination proved too strong overall, winning all 3 games, finishing with an aggregate score of 297 to Ovens & Murray 261.
Best performed rink for Goulburn Valley was skipped by Marie Boswell Reidy with 3 wins + 16 shots.
Best performed rink for the Ovens & Murray was skipped by Anne Miles,
Claire Sanders third, Anne Summerill second and Judy Black lead with 2 wins and a draw + 8 shots.
