Results – Men’s State Fours Sectional Play & Other Event Updates
RESULTS OF MEN’S STATE FOURS SECTIONAL PLAY SUNDAY 13TH FEBRUARY AT COROWA CIVIC BC
Only 8 Teams Entered in the Men’s O & M State Fours which were played at Corowa Civic BC on Sunday 13th of February on good Greens in fine and warm summer weather.
SECTION 1 – won by Maurie Braden (S), Dilun Filuk, Trevor Sellwood, and Greg Braden from Wangaratta withy 3 wins + 20 shots
SECTION 2 – won by Ian Brimblecombe (S), Adrian Pantling, Ethan Fruend, and Craig Fruend from Wangaratta with 2 wins and a Draw + 33 shots.
Wangaratta BC provided 4 of the 8 Teams who played in the Sectional play which was great support to the competition.
The Final between the Section winners will take place at Corowa Civic BC next Sunday morning the 20th of February.
MENS STATE PAIRS FINAL
This Final between Tyson and Tim Cromie from Yarrawonga and Adrian Pantling and Ethan Fruend from Wangaratta will be played on Sunday afternoon at Corowa Civic.
WOMEN’S STATE FOURS
Due to there only being 5 Teams taking part it was decided to play a Round Robin format and they will be playing the last 2 rounds at Corowa Civic on Sunday to finalise that event.
Please note that no lunches will be provided by Corowa Civic on Sunday (20th Feb)
POST SECTION KNOCKOUT FOR THE MIXED PAIRS
As players involved are also playing the State Fours on Sunday it will be played on a future date yet to be fixed. Not this Sunday
