Results – Bowls Vic Mixed Pairs Sectional Play 6 Feb 22
The O & M Mixed Pairs Section play after having to be postponed from the previous Sunday due to the deluge of rain received, received 22 Entries which is down on previous years, were played at Corowa Civic BC on very good greens in great summer weather free of the humidity which has been experienced in previous weeks.
SECTION 1 – won by Les Spencer skip and Laureen Smith from YMGCR With 3 Wins from Ron Mc Auliffe and Michelle Van Praagh from Milawa with 2 wins + 16 shots
SECTION 2 – a close section with Michael Szabo and Lyn Baxter from YMGCR winning with 2 Wins +1 shot from Peter Brock skip and Kerrie Leask from Benalla with a win and a Draw +16 shots and Kaz Hughes skip and Allan Bartlett from Corowa RSL with a Win and a Draw +3 shots
SECTION 3 – won by Tim Cromie Skip and Evelyn Calder from Yarrawonga with 3 Wins
SECTION 4 – won by Jodie Fruend skip and Craig Fruend with 3 wins from Tyson Cromie and Sharon Warfe with 2 wins +21 shots
SECTION 5 – won by Ian Brimblecombe skip and Anne Miles a composite side with 3 wins from Mick Reilly skip and Caroline Reilly from Yarrawonga
SECTION 6 – another close section was won by Lyn Mills skip and Keith Mills from Corowa RSL with 2 wins +21 shots from Wayne Furze Skip and Anne Corcoran from Yackandandah wityh 2 wins + 4 shots and Richard Hermassoo skip and Jan Hermassoo with 2 wins – 4 shots
The POST SECTION KNOCKOUT ROUNDS will be played depending on results of the State Fours Section Play on Sunday 20th as well as Knockout rounds of the Mixed Pairs if possible.
