G. Sanders played T. Selwood and won 25 – 19
I. Brimblecombe played P. McLarty and won 25 – 16
The final between Gary & Ian saw some great bowls played by both contestants on very fast greens, in perfect conditions, with a slight breeze blowing.
Ian got away to a good start and by the seventh end led 9 – 2 but Gary came back at him to be the leader by one shot on the 14th end where the score was 14 -13. Gary continued to lead on the score board until the 16th end and when they played the next end Ian picked up the ultimate score of four and went ahead from there to take the Men’s Singles Title 25 -17.
Congratulations to both players on a great game and all the best to Ian as he proceeds to Bendigo for the State playoff.
