Champions O&M State Fours 2022-23

Ladies Fours Winners

The ladies State 4s Championship was completed today at Wodonga in fine conditions.

The composite team of Kylie Whitehead, (Wodonga), Anne Miles, Laureen Smith and Claire Sanders (all from YMGCR) competed against the composite team of Cheryl Lewis, Maria Duic, (both from Myrtleford) Pauline Clearson, ( Howlong ) and Leah Venville. (Wodonga).

The game was won by Kylie and team. Final score 20/6

Men’s Fours Winners

In fine conditions and on good greens at YMGCR the men’s fours final was played between the teams of Ryan Davies & Jim Lefevre,

After being four up after 2 ends the Lefevre side let the other team score to be four all after 4 ends before they both advanced to five all after 6 ends.

From then on, the Lefevre side of Rod Jones, Andy Lefevre, Troy Williams and Jim Lefevre were outscored by the Ryan Davies side of Ken Widdison, Les Spencer, & Scott Widdison to win the fours 2022-23 title with a score of 17 – 6.
