Bowls Vic State Triples Champions

Today at Corowa RSL the O&M state triples events were finalised.

The women’s grand final between Jodie Fruend, Rohanna Smith and Renee Hill – Wangaratta vs Anne Miles Laureen Smith and Claire Sanders – YMGCR resulted in a comprehensive win for the Wangaratta team.  They started well finding their line and weight and never looked back.  The final score 22/7

The men’s semifinal between the YMGCR team of Scott Widdison, Ryan Davies and Ken Widdison vs Koby Cromie, Mason Bayliss and Tim Cromie – was also a game well executed by the composite team winning 24/8

The men’s grand final was another one-sided affair with the composite team of the Cromies and Bayliss taking the lead early and never letting it slip. Final score 20/6

Congratulations to the winners and all the best in Bendigo…I’m sure you will do O&M proud!
