Bowls Vic Regional Sides Championship

The O&M Women’s Region Side have come away from Ballarat with a Silver Medal, after losing a very close Final to Eastern Ranges on Sunday morning. Competing in Section 1 of the Gold Division the O&M defeated Geelong, drew with Yarra and had a come from behind victory against Northern Gateway to top the Section on Saturday to proceed through to Sunday’s Final.

Congratulations to all the players and Manager Kerry Ralph for producing a spirited defence of the Title they won last year.

The Men’s Region Side were bundled out after Saturday’s sectional play, after having a win against West Coast in the morning before two afternoon losses to Goulburn Murray and Northern Gateway. The O&M Men remain in Gold Division next year with West Coast Region being relegated to the Silver Division.
