RESULTS OF O & M BV 60 & OVER PAIRS SECTIONAL PLAY
AT YMGCR ON THURSDAY 23RD OF JANUARY
Play started in showery conditions with small breaks for rain during round 1, but cleared in the afternoon allowing the completion of the Sectional play.
WOMEN
Section 1 won by Kerri Leask & Sue Middleton a composite team with 3 wins
Section 2 won by Mary Tragardh & Cheryl Lewis a composite team with 3 wins
Section 3 won by Anne Miles & Caroline Reilly from YMGCR with 3 wins
The Post Section Knockout Semi-Final on Thursday 30th of January at YMGCR is between Anne Miles & Caroline Reilly versus Kerri Leask & Sue Middleton,
and the winner will meet Mary Tragardh & Cheryl Lewis in the Final.
MEN
Section 1 won by Garvie Obryan & John Fisher from Rutherglen with 3 wins
Section 2 won by Paul Davies & Bruce Owen from Wodonga with 3 wins
Section 3 was a closely contested section with 3 teams winning 2 games, and the winners were Colin Coulston and Ron Keane from Kiewa Valley with 2 wins + 9 shots, from John Flannery & Geoff Tozer from Rutherglen with 2 wins+ 6 shots, and Bob Harbridge and Bill Luty from Wodonga with 2 wins +3 shots
The Semi-Final on Thursday 3oth of January is between Garvie O’ Bryan & John Fisher versus Paul Davies & Bruce Owen, and the winner will play Colin Coulston & Ron Keane in the Final
