Bowls Is Back On
COVID-19 UPDATE: We’re back!
The circuit breaker seems to have done the trick for now, so all scheduled bowls can re-commence from tomorrow (Thursday 18th). That means for those in Metro Melbourne, Thursday pennant is back on tomorrow, and weekend pennant is back for all of Victoria on Saturday.
Masks are not required for bowls so long as 1.5m physical distancing is maintained. However, The Premier has specified masks are required indoors unless eating/drinking, so please ensure you carry one with you at all time.
All other rules around density quotas, hospitality guidelines, etc, revert back to what they were 5 days ago.
Clubs must maintain their COVID-safe plans, ensure sanitiser is readily available both indoors and outdoors, and remember to refrain from shaking hands/hi-fives, etc.
