Three Entries were received for the Novice Singles
Kim Johnston from YMGCR defeated Thelma Stones from Wangaratta BC 21/15 in round 1
Erika Ferrarie who received the bye played Kim Johnston in round 2, with Kim Johnston winning 21/11, to go on and represent Ovens & Murray in the last 16 at Mulgrave Country Club on Sunday 1st of March 2020
MEN

Round 1
Craig Fruend from Wangaratta defeated David Nichol from Wodonga 21 /11
Round 2
Ethan Fruend from Wangaratta defeated Barry Walker from Wareena Park 21 /1
Craig Fruend defeated Michael Barron from Rutherglen 21 / 8
Final
The Final was a very good competitive game between father and son Craig versus Ethan Fruend, with the margin between them tight throughout. Score were level at 12 all after 12 ends, Craig lead 18 / 15 after 17 ends. Ethan came back to trail 17 /18 after 19 ends. Craig scored 2 on end 20, followed by Ethan scoring 2 on end 21, with the score Craig 20, Ethan 19. Ethan scored 3 shots on end 22 to win the Novice singles and will represent Ovens & Murray at Mulgrave on March 1st 2020.
