WOMEN

Round 1

Peta Mattys & Jodie Fruend from Wangaratta defeated Deb Crothers & Heather Schliebs 21/13

Semi-Final

Kylie Whitehead and Mary Tragardh a composite team played Peta Mattys and Jodie Fruend, this was a great game with scores 5 all after 8 ends, 9 all after 13 ends and 13 all after the scheduled 18 ends, requiring an extra end where Kylie scored 1 shot to win.

The second Semi-Final was between Kerri Leask and Sue Middleton a composite team against Cheryl Lewis and Willy Lockwood also a composite team. In this game Kerri  started well to olead 8/1 after 4 ends, 10/4 after 7 ends and 15/7 after 15 ends when Deb’s team closed the gap to 4 shots after 18 ends, and Kerri & Sue winning 15/11

The Final of this event will be played in the new year.

MEN

Round 1

Thomas Webb & Paul Davies a composite team played Tyson & Koby Cromie from Yarrawonga. This was a closely fort game with scores level 5 all after 6 ends, 9 all after 11 ends.Tom scored three multiples to win 18/14

Chris Cooney & Sam Beaton from Benalla defeated Shaun McMahon and Ryan Davies from Corowa RSL 22/13

Ian Brimblecombe & Mark Bell defeated Greg & Laurie McDonald, both teams from Wangaratta 24/19

Semi-Finals

Thomas Webb defeated Lance Bradshaw and Doug Stewart from Swanpool 21/12

Ian Brimblecombe defeated Chris Cooney 23/13,
