Benalla BC – Best All Abilities Bowls Club in Victoria

The Benalla Bowls Club was invited to the Bowls Victoria AGM in Hawthorn, at the Hawthorn Arts Centre which used to be called the Hawthorn Town Hall.

The Benalla Bowls Club was awarded the Best All Abilities Bowls Club in Victoria, not bad for country town and remembering there are over 500 Bowls Clubs in Victoria, to receive this award; it was presented to Club President Catherine Chuke and Secretary Graham Moore

Benalla Bowls Club enjoys working with all types of people with Disabilities, no matter whom they are, we are all ways there to help them and make sure they enjoy the moment

This award comes in conjunction with the first BOWLING CLUB to be award an Australia Day award. Benalla was presented with this award by the Benalla Rural City Council, for being the standout community group within the District, mainly due to their involvement with schools, people with disabilities, and charity / fund raising days
